Description

This red berry 3d beetle brooch is designed and made by me.

I made it on felt, hand embroidered with different techniques and then attached to a metal brooch pin 32mm (Japan).
I also attached a pair of handmade and unique slim leaf droppers as a wings. They are hand formed in Earthstone and textured with embedded leaves. HIgh fired. Then fired again with Bronze clay and Gloria glaze by artist in UK.

Back side of the brooch is dk.grey faux leather.

Size of the beetle with wings is 2.17x3.35 in (5.5cm.x8.5cm.

Colors: Coral red, brown, bronze, grey, black.

Materials: Porcelain leaves wings, silk velvet, sequins, glass beads, Miyuki&Toho seed beads, Austrian SW pearl beads, Austrian SW crystals, faux leather, brooch pin (Japan).
